San Juan Island, Washington (PRBuzz) October 5, 2010 -- With few remedies in sight for most of our increasing personal, social and environmental disorders, a powerful confrontation to how most contemporary individuals learn to think and feel has been released on a special web page by Dr. Michael Cohen, Director of Project NatureConnect at Akamai University and the Institute of Global Education. Cohen presents a critical challenge to the world. He says, "Get real. Show me a thing, place or relationship that, since the beginning of our Universe, has not, or does not consist of natural attraction power holding things together in ways that create the perfection of nature's purity, balance and beauty". Cohen believes that his argument with our central way of building relationships is essential. He insists that without this quarrel about natural attraction we don't even begin to think about the core dysfunction that we suffer. It is a curable disorder that, un-remedied, threatens life as we know it. "We are drowning in a sea of troubles" notes Cohen, "Yet we instinctively sense that a natural solution for them is readily available. We seem to inherently know that our deep desire to survive in peace and happiness is not just an accident. On some level we are conscious that it is part of our nature and all of nature." Cohen, who is the author of "Educating Counseling and Healing With Nature (ECHN)," says that the unrecognized power that can help us reverse our troubles is natural attraction energy. He offers that It flows in, around and through us as well as throughout nature's totality. "We suffer our dilemmas" notes Cohen, "Because we are paid to refute, conquer and exploit this power rather than enlist its self-correcting and restorative ways."
